This Privacy Policy describes how GoDeadOn LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the GoSlips mobile and web application (the "App"). GoSlips is a viewer that displays drag-racing time slips that tracks and event operators publish to our service.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
If you grant permission, the App reads your device's approximate or precise location to sort tracks by distance and suggest the nearest track. This location is processed on your device to compute distances. We do not transmit your location to our servers, and we do not retain a history of your location. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings; the App remains usable without it (you can pick a track manually).
The App saves your selected track identifier locally on your device (using on-device preference storage) so it can be restored the next time you open the App. This data stays on your device and is removed if you uninstall the App or clear its data.
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, or payment information through the App. The App has no login or user accounts.
To display time slips, the App connects to Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage). In the course of providing these services, Google may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, device/OS type, and request logs. This processing is governed by Google's privacy practices. See Firebase Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the App (currently Google Firebase) and only as needed to provide the service, or where required by law.
On-device preferences persist until you clear them or uninstall the App. The time-slip content displayed in the App is published by tracks/operators and retained on our backend to provide event history.
We use reputable infrastructure (Google Firebase) and reasonable measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
The App is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
